LOVE GROWS HERE
MINISTRIES
Through Jesus Christ, God has given each of us gifts and talents that, when used, seem almost mystical in their power and beauty to transform the world around us. At Hanover Presbyterian Church, we each seek to understand who God has made us to be, so that we can use our unique gifts, skills, and passions to glorify him by serving others. Every person is necessary as part of Christ's body. Every person is a gift. It takes the whole church to be Jesus' hands and feet in the world. We hope you find a ministry that calls to you and your special gifts and talents.
FOOD SECURITY
Throughout his ministry, Jesus traveled about from place to place the good news. For Jesus, the proclamation of the gospel always had two vital aspects: word and deed. The gospel isn't only about our individual spiritual experience, but also about building God's kingdom of peace, harmony, wholeness, and prosperity for all people.

In rural Ohio, a major barrier in creating God's kingdom is food insecurity. There are far too many of our neighbors going to bed hungry. To combat this growing problem, Hanover Presbyterian Church is continuing to increase our involvement with local food pantries.

On the first Sunday of every month we encourage the congregation to bring nonperishable items to worship to be donated to the middle school Panther Pantry.
FIRST THURSDAY EACH MONTH
AT 6 PM
We want everyone to know that they are loved by God, especially during times of transition, illness, or new life stages. To that end knitters and crocheters gather each month to create prayer shawls and scarves. All created items are blessed on a communion Sunday and distributed to those who need an extra measure of God's comfort.
