Youth Ministry

Youth Ministry Foundations

Hanover Presbyterian is focused on equipping young people to be transformational Christian leaders and we seek to help call young people into deeper discipleship in Jesus Christ.  Through a dedicated group of teachers and guides, we share the Good News of Jesus Christ with young people throughout the Newark area.

We welcome children of all ages. If you’re seeking Sunday School or youth group or fellowship opportunities, at Hanover Presbyterian you’ll find a high energy, biblically infused and focused, youth friendly part of our congregation’s life – and all are welcome!

Our regular events mix fun with worship, discussion, and games that foster a deeper relationship with God. Other opportunities offered throughout the year are service projects, mission trips and retreats.  Through these events we show the teens what it means to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community.

At Hanover, children of all ages become meaningfully integrated into a vibrant community centered around Jesus Christ. Every event has a goal and purpose that invites the Holy Spirit to preside over the gathering and reveal something new to all of us.

 Youth Ministry Leadership Team

The Youth Ministry Leadership team works to plan the events and projects of the HPC Believers Youth Group. The committee plans and leads the Easter Sunrise Service each year with the Youth. They prepare and serve a spaghetti dinner and sell Wilson’s Garden Center gift cards as fundraisers for the many activities and events the Youth participate in each year.

To join the Youth Ministry Leadership team, contact David Clark or Pastor Sarah.
